Redwood trees are an amazing creation by God as they are the tallest trees on Earth yet their root system is not that deep. They continue to stand tall because they extend their shallow root system to a diameter of 50 feet or more. Of course this creates a tangled root system that connects trees together as well as utilizes the grooves and crevasses surrounding it to provide additional strength.

Reading the Bible through can leave you feeling like you have a shallow understanding. You may not feel like you are gaining great depth of understanding as you read about all the sacrificial and ceremonial requirements of the law, but each day that you read and post within the group you are spreading your root system. You are connecting with others within the Bible Reading Diehard group as you participate. God is able to take that and develop strength within your life! So find those grooves and crevasses in your time every day to read God’s Word.
