We All Want Peace
It seems that we don’t have a lot of peace in our world and there are days when it feels like peace is completely absent in our own lives. The pressures of finances, busy schedules, or relational challenges can leave us feeling like we are lacking and lonely. Yet Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
As we consider our desire for peace, I want to share one of my favorite verses on peace. It is pictured below. It is important to consider the verses that precede Philippians 4:7.

We often say we want peace but we haven’t stepped through the process necessary to receive peace? Today I pray you are encouraged to trust God more and choose to live out Philippians 4:4-7 to receive the peace that only He gives.
